Preparation: soak in hot water for 10 - 20 min. or until completely rehydrated.
Uses: Slice or use whole like normal shiitake mushrooms. Also amazing if you add to soups or stocks. They are extra umami because they’ve been dried. The leftover soaking water can be kept in the fridge to use as a shiitake broth for cooking or to cook rice for some extra flavor.
