We fold buckwheat flour into a Dominican coconut milk chocolate, then sprinkle the bars with toasted buckwheat and sea salt. The base chocolate is soft, with an earthy, hearty sweetness, and wonderful chocolatey finish. Toasted buckwheat groats add a crunch that reminds us of cookie edges. A sprinkle of salt just makes everything sing. We think this bar tastes like a double chocolate chip cookie.
